Built on the island. Made to last.
Elektrovoda began in 1955, bringing electricity to Cres when the islands were still disconnected from the mainland grid. Over the decades, that work grew into water supply, drainage and civil engineering across Cres and Lošinj.

The first spark
The company built Cres’s first electric power plant. Local generators supplied electricity to Cres and Mali Lošinj.
1979
A wider purpose
Reorganized around utility supply, sewerage management and civil engineering.
1992
Municipal chapter
Established by decision of the Municipality of Cres–Lošinj and its public utility company.
2013
Water services reorganized
Water supply and drainage activities separated under Croatian water legislation.
2023
A new chapter
Elektrovoda became privately owned, continuing its work from the Cres industrial zone.
